Congratulations to Cinderella's Closet
After months of hard work - raising money, recruiting volunteers, collecting dresses and shoes and jewelry - Cinderella's Closet 2015 finally arrived.
Cinderella's Closet gathers gently used formal dresses and accessories and uses them to "turn dresses into dreams" for high school juniors and seniors who need assistance in order to go to prom. The young women "shop" in a boutique-style atmosphere (complete with a "fairy godmother" to help them find and try out dresses) and go home with an outfit that makes them feel beautiful … all at no cost to them.
This year, Cinderella's Closet of Chatham County blessed 62 young women with dresses and accessories. We're praying that they would know that they are cherished.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you who donated dresses and time to make this event happen again this year.
We also want to say a special "Thank you" to Stephanie Eisner, who serves on the Cinderella's Closet Coordinating Team and is the primary contact between our church and this wonderful ministry.
