A Channel of Grace: Philippians 1:25

"Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith"

- Philippians 1:25

Despite being imprisoned, Paul was convinced that he had another season of ministry in him before he died. He was convinced that God had a reason to prolong his life.

The purpose of Paul's existence - from Paul's perspective - was to serve as a channel of grace to others.

If he lived longer, there must be someone God wanted him to bless, someone God wanted him to serve, someone God wanted him to love. If he survived, God must want him to share his life with people like the Philippians, for the sake of their progress and joy in the faith.

Are you making yourself available to serve as a channel of God's grace to others? Where has God placed you today?

Imagine what living in Catham Co. would like, what would be transformed? Who and what would God heal? How would His Spirit move in each of us and through us if we really grabbed hold of the radicalness of Paul's way of life?

I love Daniel's prayer for Israel.
We make this plea, not because we deserve help, but because of your mercy. “O Lord, hear. O Lord, forgive. O Lord, listen and act! For your own sake, do not delay, O my God, for your people and your city bear your name.” (Daniel 9:18, 19 NLT)

Amen... Living "to serve as a channel of God's grace to others"? Yes, by God's grace we can do that even in our difficult circumstances. We just need to decide where our confidence is.

Amen....God uses those who submit their will to Him. On the same token, He won't subvert our will....we must make a choice to serve Him, as Paul did.

Let us choose today to make our life all about Him....what an honor to be used by the Master of the Universe!!

Glory!!
